One of the things I enjoy most about plumbing is helping homeowners bring their remodeling ideas to life. We recently worked with a homeowner in Littleton who was giving their bathroom a complete makeover. Their goal was to replace the old layout with a brand-new shower and a double-sink vanity. The only challenge was that the bathroom had originally been built with plumbing for just one sink.
Before any of the new fixtures could be installed, the plumbing behind the walls needed to be completely reworked. That's where we came in.
For this project, we handled the full plumbing rough-in for both the new shower and the double vanity. We opened the walls, installed new drain lines, rerouted water supply lines, and added everything needed to support two sinks instead of one. Careful planning during this stage is important because every pipe has to be positioned correctly so the finished vanity, faucets, and shower all fit exactly where they're supposed to.
While another contractor completed the installation of the finished bathroom fixtures later in the remodel, our job was to make sure the plumbing infrastructure was built the right way from the start. A solid rough-in is one of the most important parts of any bathroom renovation because it helps prevent future leaks, drainage issues, and costly adjustments once the walls are closed up.

I always tell homeowners that remodeling is much easier when experienced trades work together. By completing the plumbing rough-in before the finishes were installed, we helped keep the project moving smoothly and gave the next contractor everything they needed to complete the bathroom without plumbing surprises.
